Tropical Depression SEVEN forms in Atlantic

Tropical Depression Seven has organized and developed overnight in the Atlantic. The system is forecast to move generally westward over the tropical Atlantic during the next day or so, and move near or over portions of the Leeward Islands Friday and Friday night. Regardless of development, the system is likely to bring
gusty winds and locally heavy rainfall to portions of the Leeward Islands Friday through Saturday.

Above is the Cone of uncertainty that shows Tropical Depression Seven organizing into a Tropical Storm all the way up to Cuba. Note: The cone contains the probable path of the storm center but does not show the size of the storm. Hazardous conditions can occur outside of the cone

The spaghetti model above is the GFS Ensemble that would show Seven recurving up North into the Atlantic.

This spaghetti model is the GEPS Ensemble that predicts a different story and shows Seven potentially making it to the Gulf of Mexico. There is still a lot of uncertainty going into this system and what it will do, so it is important to stay up to date with all Tropical Updates! Follow us on Twitter for up to date coverage.
