Tornado Threat Ongoing Today

The threat for severe weather is ongoing today for parts of the Deep South into the Southeast. Tornado Watches are already in place for some spots.

There is an Enhanced Risk from southern Mississippi to coastal South Carolina and Georgia. This includes Montgomery and Mobile, AL, Columbus and Savannah, GA, and Tallahassee, FL.

A swath of damaging wind gusts are possible as well as a few tornadoes. A strong tornado is not out of the question.
