Severe Threat for Central US

Severe weather is likely today from the southern Plains to the Ozarks. An Enhanced Risk area includes Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Norman, and Lawton, OK and Wichita Falls, TX.

Significant damaging winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes will be possible. The greatest threat for tornadoes stretches from the Lubbock, TX area through much of Oklahoma, through northwest Arkansas and southern and central Missouri and into southwestern Illinois.
