Severe Weather Outbreak Today
A major severe weather event is expected today with a tornado outbreak likely in northern Mississippi, northern Alabama, and southern Tennessee.
The SPC has issued a rare HIGH risk for severe weather. This includes Huntsville, Decatur, Madison, and Florence, AL and Tupelo, MS.
All modes of severe weather will be possible, including the threat for a few long-track, violent tornadoes, hurricane force winds, and large to very large hail. SPC Outlook maps follow in the order of 1. Tornado Outlook 2. Wind Outlook and 3. Hail Outlook
