Substantial St. Paddy’s Day Severe Threat

The threat for severe weather across parts of the South on Wednesday has grown. The SPC now has a Moderate Risk in place from eastern Arkansas into much of Alabama on St. Patrick’s Day.

The Moderate Risk area includes Memphis, TN, Little Rock, AR, and Birmingham, Montgomery, and Tuscaloosa, AL.

All modes of severe weather will be possible tomorrow, including large hail, damaging wind gusts, and even several strong tornadoes.
