Severe Weather Possible Easter Sunday
A severe weather outbreak is possible across parts of the Southeast on Easter Sunday.
Areas that have the greatest risk for severe thunderstorms include Alexandria and New Orleans, LA, Jackson, MS, Columbus, GA, and Dothan and Mobile, AL.
All modes of severe weather will be possible with storms that develop on Sunday. The SPC warns that, “tornadoes (potentially strong/long-tracked) and widespread damaging winds are expected to be the primary hazards.”
