Dorian Moving Along Florida’s Eastern Coast
Dorian continues to move parallel along Florida’s eastern coast this morning. The hurricane is a category 2 with maximum sustained winds of 105 mph. It’s moving to the NNW at about 9 mph.
A hurricane warning remains in effect from the Volusia/Brevard county, FL line to Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and north of the Savannah River to Surf City, NC.
Tropical storm conditions will continue in northeastern Florida and begin in parts of Georgia later today. Hurricane conditions are expected within the Florida hurricane warning later today, with hurricane conditions beginning in the Carolina hurricane warning areas by late tonight.
