Central Plains Severe Threat

Severe weather will be possible today in parts of the Central Plains. An Enhanced Risk is in place from north central Kansas into far northeastern Oklahoma.

This includes Kansas City and Springfield, MO, Tulsa, OK, and Overland Park, KS.

Damaging wind gusts, large hail, and even a few tornadoes will be possible with thunderstorms that develop later today and into this evening.
