Upper Midwest Severe Threat

Severe weather is possible today across parts of the Upper Midwest including parts of Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin.

An Enhanced Risk area stretches from near Duluth, MN south through the Twin Cities and towards Des Moines, IA. The risk also includes the western half of Wisconsin.

The primary threat with today’s storms will be damaging wind gusts. Isolated large hail and even a tornado or two cannot be ruled out.
