Severe Weather Ahead for the Central Plains

Severe weather is possible today across parts of the Central Plains. The SPC has issued an Enhanced Risk including Norfolk and Columbus, NE and Yankton and Vermillion, SD.

Storms that develop this afternoon and evening could produce large hail and damaging wind gusts. An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out. Heavy downpours are also possible.
