Severe Weather Threat this Evening
Severe weather is likely late this afternoon and evening in parts of southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma. This includes the cities of Tulsa, Broken Arrow, and Muskogee.
Storms are expected to begin developing around 4 PM and continue into the late evening. The primary threat is very large hail. Damaging winds and a few isolated tornadoes are also possible.
A Severe Thunderstorm Watch has already been issued for parts of Kansas and Oklahoma until 10 PM for large hail up to 2.5″, wind gusts up to 70 mph, and a tornado or two.
