Catastrophic Louisiana Flooding

More than 30″ of rain has fallen over parts of Louisiana, most of it in the last 24 hours. This has produced life-threatening floods, with many residents stranded and water rescues ongoing. Evacuations continue, especially Central and Southern Louisiana where rivers and creeks are going over their banks.
