I have 15+ years of storm spotting and chasing experience. I am an Advanced Trained Spotter and a member of the Kane County ARES out of Kane County Illinois. I mainly operate on fq 145.470 with call sign KC9RGS.

I chase with my girlfriend and fellow weather junky, Kelly, in a 1997 Ford Expedition which is equipped with a 144/440 ham radio with X-band repeat, CB, 300 channel trunk tracking scanner. Additionally I have a Netbook with GPS, Spotter Network, GR3, IEMBot, eSpotter, and Yahoo IM running during chase mode.
