On Saturday, March 20, 2010, Douglas County Emergency Management will be putting on their 10th Annual Severe Weather Symposium to take place from 7:30am - 1:00pm at the Lawrence Arts Center in Lawrence, KS.

4 Guest Speakers from across the Midwest will put on as Presentation that day. Following those presentations, we have a Roundtable discussion where our 4 Guest Speakers, along with a select group of Local Meteorologist (Topeka, Kansas City, and Lawrence) will have the opportunity to field and address questions from the audience.

This year's presenters include:
-- Greg Carbin, Warning Coordination Meteorologist / SPC in Norman
-- Brandon Ivey, The Storm Report & Storm Chasers
-- Brian Barjenbruch, Journeyman Forescaster / WFO Topeka
-- Matt Elwell, Chief Meteorologist, Channel 6 Weather / Lawrence

Roundtable committments already include:

-- Joe Lauria, FOX4 / Kansas City
